MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, began the meeting at 3:00 PM on February 28, 2018, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hoppe officially called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. A quorum was present.

Representative Smith moved that HF2764 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Smith moved the H2764A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Smith renewed the motion that HF2764, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Halverson moved to approve the minutes from April 25, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2391 (Franson) Retirement, health savings, and medical savings accounts regulated; and asset protection provided.

Representative Franson moved that HF2391 be re-referred to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee.

Representative Franson moved the H2391DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Franson renewed the motion that HF2391, as amended, be re-referred to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
