MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, began the meeting at 10:18 A.M. on March 30, 2016 in Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Cornish began the meeting at 10:18 A.M. A quorum was not present.

At 10:23 A.M. a quorum was present, and Representative Cornish called the meeting to order.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Schoen moved the minutes of March 29, 2016 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2774 (Fenton): Election emergency plan development required.

Representative Cornish moved HF2774 be referred to the General Register.

HF3333 (Barrett): Controlled substance schedules modified.

Representative Cornish moved HF3333 be referred to the General Register.

Representative Cornish moved the following oral amendment: On P.1, L.1.8 delete the number “2” and insert “1.A”. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Cornish renewed his motion to refer HF3469, as amended, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3423 (Johnson): Statewide criminal and juvenile justice information policy and funding issues advisory group provided.

Representative Johnson moved HF3423 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.

Representative Johnson moved the A16-0959 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
