MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 A.M. on March 10, 2016 in Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Cornish began the meeting at 10:15 A.M. A quorum was not present.

At 10:17 A.M. a quorum was present, and Representative Cornish called the meeting to order.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hertaus moved that the minutes from the May 4, 2015 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1089 (Rarick): Firework manufacture, sale, and use regulated.

Representative Cornish moved HF 1089 to be passed and referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.

Representative Cornish moved the HF 1089 DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cornish renewed his motion to pass HF 1089, as amended, to be referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
