MINUTES
Representative Sanders, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:03 AM on April 28, 2016 in Hearing Room 5 in the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Anderson moved to adopt the minutes from April 27, 2016.
THE MOTION PREVAILED
HF3959 (Smith) REAL ID Act implementation authorized and governed, driver’s license and Minnesota identification card rquirements amended, fees amended, legislative reporting required, rulemaking required, and money appropriated.
The following testified on HF3959:
Dennis Smith – State Representative
Dawn Olson – Director of Driver and Vehicle Services
Twila Brase – Citizen’s Council for Health Freedom President
Matt Ehling – Individual
Representative Albright moved to orally amend HF3959 as follows:
Line 11.33 before the period insert “, including subdivision 5”
Representative Albright withdrew the amendment.
Chair Sanders moved to amend HF3959 (see attached amendment H3959A5).
THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
Representative Nelson moved to amend HF3959 (see attached amendment H3959A4).
Representative Nelson requested a roll call.
