MINUTES

Representative Jenifer Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:51 p.m. on March 17th, 2015, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF1259 Backer, Early education services authorized for students from adjoining states.
Representative Loon moved that HF1259 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Backer testified on HF1259.

Representative Loon laid over the HF1259 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill, or further consideration at a later date.

Representative Fenton moved the minutes of March 12th, 2015, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF603 Kresha, Early learning scholarship program provided funding, and money appropriated.

Representative Kresha moved that HF603 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Loon laid over HF603 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill, or further consideration at a later date.

HF1220 Kresha, Early learning scholarship parameters clarified, and money appropriated.

Representative Kresha moved that HF733 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Kresha testified on HF1220 and HF603.
