MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, began the meeting at 2:46 P.M. on March 4, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Brewpubs authorized to sell malt liquor to licensed wholesalers for distribution to retail licensees of the State Fair.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1118 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus.

Representative Sundin moved that the minutes of March 3, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hoppe assumed the gavel at 3:05 P.M.

HF1293 (Sanders)
Liquor statutes relating to brewers and other providers of alcoholic beverages recodified, definitions provided, and technical and conforming changes made.

Representative Sanders moved that HF1293 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus.

Representative S. Anderson moved to adopt the A15-0095 amendment.

Chair Hoppe incorporated a modification to the A15-0095 amendment as follows: line 1.22 after “off-sale” insert “malt” and delete “liquors” and insert “liquor”.

Representative S. Anderson renewed the motion to adopt the A15-0095 amendment, as modified. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative S. Anderson moved to adopt the H0070A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF70 was laid over, as amended, for possible inclusion.

HF121 (Swedzinski)
Sunday growler sales allowed for small brewers.

Representative Swedzinski moved that HF121 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus.
