MINUTES

Representative Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 17th, 2016, in Hearing Room Ten of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Scott called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.


Representative Vogel moved to approve the minutes of March 15th, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF799-(Fabian)
Duty owed by owners of real property to trespassers specified.

Representative Hoppe moved that HF799 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Hoppe moved the H799A-1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hoppe renewed his motion that HF799 as amended be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Lesch requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

Minnesota Statute references updated to include limited liability companies under the Minnesota Revised Uniform Liability company Act, fees clarified, and other clarifying changes made.

Chair Scott moved that HF2705 be re-refereed to the General Register.

HF2955-(Smith)
Disability discrimination actions related to accessibility demand letter requirements established, accessibility audits or plans provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Smith moved that HF2955 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Smith moved the H2955DE-2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
