MINUTES

Representative Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 5th, 2015, in the Hearing Room Ten of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Scott called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Zerwas moved to approve the minutes from March 3rd, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

At 8:17 A.M. Representative Smith assumed the gavel.

Representative Scott moved HF437 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.

Representative Scott moved the HF437DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Available testifiers for HF437: Representative Peggy Scott, Representative Dave Baker, Representative Bob Loonan, Autumn Leva, Steve Snyder, Nicole Monacell, Callie Kolkind, Chris Stinson, and Dr. Debra Simmons.

Representative Lesch moved the HF437DE2 amendment. THE MOTION WAS WITHDRAWN.

Representative Lesch Moved the HF437A-1 Amendment. THE MOTION WAS WITHDRAWN.

Representative Scott renewed her motion that HF437 be re-referred as amended to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Scott moved HF1109 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Election.

Available testifiers for HF1109, Representative Peggy Scott, Mike Hassing and Cecile Ferkul.

Representative Scott renewed her motion that HF1109 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


At 9:19 A.M. Representative Scott reassumed the gavel.

Representative Hoppe moved that HF799 be re-referred to the General Register.

Available testifiers for HF799, Representative Dan Fabian, Bob Johnson, and Ryan Hamilton.

Representative Hoppe renewed his motion that HF799 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Lesch requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

Representative Hoppe moved that HF793 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Hoppe moved HF793A-3 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chari Scott laid over HF793 for further consideration.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:56 A.M.
