MINUTES

Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of Property and Local Tax Division, called the meeting to order at 4:03 P.M. March 19, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nelson moved HF 1161
Representative Anzelc--on behalf of Representative Dill--presented HF 1161 (Dill) Property tax valuation criteria for conservation easements purchased with outdoor heritage funds established.
The following person testified on HF 1161:

Jerry Welsh, Assistant County Assessor, Saint Louis County

Tom Dybing, County Assessor, Houston County

John Hagen, Director of Property Tax Division, Minnesota Department of Revenue

HF 1161 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Property and Local Tax Division Report.

Representative Faust moved HF 1246
Representative Anzelc presented HF 1246 (Anzelc) Iron Range fiscal disparities program study required and money appropriated.

Representative Dehn presented HF 1508 (Dehn) Minneapolis; public entertainment facility property tax exemption provided.
The following person testified on HF 1508:

Elizabeth Glidden, City Council Member, City of Minneapolis

HF 1508 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Property and Local Tax Division Report.

Representative Torkelson moved that the minutes from March 12, 2013, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED

The meeting was adjourned at 5:01 P.M. .
