MINUTES

Representative Erin Murphy, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:52 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Room 118 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Benson moved approval of the Tuesday, April 16, 2013 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.


Chair Erin Murphy moved that the Proposed Calendar for the Day for Friday, April 19, 2013 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED


Chair Erin Murphy moved that SF 1589 be passed and sent to the General Register.

Chair Erin Murphy moved to amend SF 1589 as follows: delete everything after the enacting clause and insert the text of HF 1184, Second Engrossment.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Erin Murphy renewed the motion that SF 1589 be passed as amended and sent to the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Chair Erin Murphy moved that HF 1183 be passed and sent to the General Register.




Representative Daudt moved to amend HF 1183 (See attached RA13-035 amendment).
Representative Daudt requested a roll call.

Representative Hansen moved to amend HF 1183 (See attached H1183A60THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Proposed Calendar for the Day for Friday, April 19, 2013
SF1589/HF1184 (Murphy, M.) Omnibus State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs bill. **NOTE: There will be a delete-all to SF 1589 which will consist of the text of HF 1184, 2nd engrossment.**
HF1183 (Kahn) Omnibus Legacy bill
NOTE: We will be hearing SF1589/HF1184 (Murphy, M.) and HF 1183 (Kahn) in order to satisfy House Rule 4.14 which states, "a bill or amendment that proposes to have a memorial placed in the Capitol area must be referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration."

Typically, the rules committee operates under a 24-hour rule for amendments, however the rule is waived for SF1589/HF1184 (Murphy, M) and HF 1183 (Kahn).
