Representative Clark, Chair of Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the first meeting to order at 12:35pm 1/16/2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Isaacson moved that the minutes of January 14, 2013 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.
HF83 (Freiberg) Military service member notice of rights required, lender required to provide a single point of contact, mortgage lender prohibited from beginning or continuing a foreclosure proceeding while considering a request by a borrower for a mortgage modification, and mortgage lender required to participate in and pay for mediation if the borrower requests mediation.
Vice Chair Bly moved that HF83 (Freiberg) be recommended to pass.
Representative Mike Freiberg presented HF83.

Vice Chair Bly moved to lay over HF83 (Freiberg) for consideration at a later meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:00pm.
