MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of Committee on Health and Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 2:22 pm, March 11, 2014 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Benson moved the minutes from February 28, March 4, and March 5 of 2014. Motion prevailed. Minutes adopted.

Chair Liebling moved that HF2446 (Simonson) be recommended to be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Liebling moved the H2446A2 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

The following individuals testified:

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF2446 be recommended to be re-referred as amended to the Judiciary Finance and Policy Committee. Motion prevailed.

Chair Liebling moved that HF2320 (Laine) be recommended to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Liebling moved the H2320A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Loeffler moved HF2169 (Loeffler). Representative Loeffler moved the H2169A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

HF2169 (Loeffler) was laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Policy Omnibus Bill.

Representative Moran moved that HF2361 (Moran) be recommended to be re-referred to the Government Operations Committee.

Representative Allen moved that HF2248 (Allen) be recommended to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Allen moved the H2248A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Allen presented information on HF2248 and the following individuals testified:

Representative Allen renewed her motion that HF2248 be recommended to be re-referred as amended to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee. Motion prevailed.

Representative Allen presented information on HF2410 (Allen) to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Policy Omnibus Bill. Dave Hartford, Chemical and Mental Health Division, Department of Human Services provided additional information on HF2410.

HF2410 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Policy Omnibus Bill.

The committee recessed at 3:48 pm.
The committee reconvened at 6:21pm in room 10 of the State Office Building.

Chair Liebling moved that HF2472 (Dorholt) be recommended to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Liebling moved the H2472 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Dorholt presented information on HF2472 and the following individuals testified:

At 6:33 Representative Benson assumed the gavel.

Representative Liebling moved that HF1898 (Liebling) be recommended to be re-referred to the State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs Committee.

Representative Liebling moved the H1898DE2 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Abeler moved the H1898A1 and incorporated the following oral amendments to the H1898A1 amendment as follows:
On line 1.15 after the word “paragraph” delete the “f” in parenthesis and insert an “e”. Line 1.21 delete “2011” and insert “2014”. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Liebling presented information on HF1898 and the following individuals testified:

Representative Loeffler moved the H1867A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Loeffler moved the H1867A2 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Loeffler renewed her motion that HF1867 (Loeffler) be recommended to be re-referred as amended to the Government Operations Committee. Motion prevailed.
