Representative Radinovich, Chairing the Committee on Education Finance, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM, February 19, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Selcer moved the minutes of February 14, 2013 be approved.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF630 (Marquart) Education; funding provided for early childhood and family, prekindergarten through grade 12, and adult education, including general education, education excellence, special programs, facilities and technology, nutrition, accounting, libraries, early childhood education, prevention, self-sufficiency and lifelong learning, and state agencies; and money appropriated.
An explanation of the provisions of HF630 was provided by Kevin McHenry and Tom Melcher of the Minnesota Department of Education.
Members' questions and comments were addressed throughout the bill presentation.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 AM.
