MINUTES

Representative Mullery, Chair of Committee on Early Childhood and Youth Development Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:04pm Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Moran moved to approve the minutes from Tuesday, February 5, 2013. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

The following individuals provided an informational overview of the impact of expanding access to early childhood education:

Gayle Kelley, Minnesota Head Start
Tom Holton, MN Community Education Assn. and MN Assn. for Family and Early Education

Dan Evans, Child Care Works
Lisa Thompson, family child care provider
Marline Blake, family child care provider



The meeting was adjourned at 5:34pm.
