MINUTES

Representative Bruce Anderson, Chair of the Veterans Services Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:38 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012, in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes of February 27, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2493 (Anderson) Noncompetitive appointment of disabled veterans in the classified service provided.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2493 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

The committee heard testimony on HF2493.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2494 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

HF2629 (Anderson) Resolution; Congress and the President of the United States memorialized to formally recognize the Khmer Freedom Fighters.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2629 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
