MINUTES
Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:08 A.M. on May 17, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Buck McAlpin, Director of Government Affairs, North Memorial, Mark Skubik, Park Nicollet Heatlh Services, Dr. Alan Goldbloom, CEO, Children's Hospitals and Clinics, Jonathan Watson, Public Policy Director, MN Association of Community Health Centers, Ralonda J. Mason, Attorney, Legal Services Advocacy Project, Lin Nelson, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota, Geoff Bartsh, Medica, and Dr. Charles Sawyer, Northwestern Health Sciences University testified on the CHOICE waiver.
A quorum was present.
Representative Abeler officially called the meeting to order at 9:46 A.M.
Representative Gottwalt moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 24, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Lawrence Massa, President, Minnesota Hospital Association, Jerry Massman, CFO, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Greg Klugherz, CFO, CentraCare Health System, and Dave Feinwachs, presented an overview on Hospital earnings.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:47 A.M.
