GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the fifty seventh meeting to order at 10:19 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF2722 (Mazorol) Municipal employee liability regulated.

Chair Peppin moved that HF2722 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

The committee heard testimony on HF2722.

Chair Peppin amended her motion that HF2722 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Civil Law Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2458 (Torkelson) Advisory inspection process created.

Chair Peppin moved that HF2458 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee.

The committee heard testimony on HF2458.

Chair Peppin renewed her motion that HF2458 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2614 (Mahoney) Administrative law judge and compensation judge mandatory retirement age changed.

Representative Simon moved that HF2614 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF2614.

Representative Simon renewed his motion that HF2614 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
