GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the sixty fourth meeting to order at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Simon moved confirmation to the General Register of the appointment of George Beck to the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.

The committee heard testimony:
George Beck
Gary Goldsmith

Representative Simon renewed his motion to move the confirmation to the General Register of the appointment of George Beck to the Campaign Finance and Disclosure Board. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Scalze moved that the minutes of March 22, 2012 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Peppin moved confirmation to the General Register of the appointment of Neil Peterson to the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.

The committee heard testimony:
Neil Peterson
Gary Goldsmith

Chair Peppin renewed her motion to move the confirmation to the General Register of the appointment of Neil Peterson to the Campaign Finance and Disclosure Board. THE MOTION PREVAILED.




The meeting was adjourned at 8:33 a.m.
