MINUTES
Representative Denny McNamara, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources called the fourteenth meeting to order at 8:14 a.m. on February 9, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 8:14 a.m.
Lee Ehmke, Director of the Minnesota Zoo and Peggy Adelmann, Chief Financial Officer for the Minnesota Zoo gave an overview of the organization.
Rep. Torkelson assumed the gavel at 9:01 a.m.
Rep. McNamara assumed the gavel at 9:05 a.m.
Len Price, Director of Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa, gave an overview of the organization.
H.F. 348 (Hackbarth) Decoy restrictions modified.
Chair McNamara moved H.F. 348 to be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish Bill.
Representative Hackbarth and Jeff Weaver presented H.F. 348.
Chair McNamara renewed his motion that H.F. 348 will be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish Bill.
H.F. 31 (Dill) Deer killed by motor vehicle permitted to be kept by the driver.
Chair McNamara moved H.F. 31 to be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish Bill.
Representative Dill and Major Smith , Department of Natural Resources Enforcement Operations Manager, presented H.F. 31.

Representative Hancock moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 8, 2011 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
