MINUTES

Representative Kelly, Vice Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. on January 27, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Erickson moved that the minutes of January 26, 2011 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF63 (Garofalo) Teacher licensure provisions amended, alternative teacher preparation program and limited-term teacher license established, and report required.

Chair Garofalo moved that HF63 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Garofalo moved to incorporate the HF0063A3 amendment to HF63.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mariani offered a friendly amendment, changing Page 3 Line 26 "may" to "must.

Chair Garofalo moved that HF63 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
