MINUTES

Representative Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:38 p.m. on March 14, 2012, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved HF2432 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Davids moved amendment A12-0726. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Representative Kriesel introduced HF1774.

Representative Hoppe moved an oral amendment. On lines 3.17, 3.34, and 4.20, delete "July" and insert "June." The motion prevailed. The oral amendment was adopted.

Representative Stensrud renewed his motion that HF1774 be recommended to pass as amended and re-referred to the General Register. The motion prevailed.

The chair recessed the meeting at 4:09 pm.

Representative O’Driscoll called the meeting to order at 6:26 pm.

Representative Sanders moved HF2354 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Sanders moved amendment H2354DE1. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Gary Thaden from MN Mechanical Contractors Association testified.

Representative Sanders renewed his motion that HF2354 be recommended to pass as amended and re-referred to the General Register. The motion prevailed.

Representative Sanders moved HF2136 and recommended that it be passed and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Sanders moved amendment H2136A1. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Representative Sanders renewed his motion that HF2136 be recommended to pass as amended and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. The motion prevailed.

Representative O’Driscoll handed the gavel to Representative Sanders at 6:35 pm.

Representative Sanders moved HF2238.

Representative Benson introduced HF2238.
