MINUTES

Representative Westrom, Chair of the Civil Law Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:36 PM on Monday, March 5, 2012, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch moved for approval of the minutes from Wednesday, February 29, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1819 (Dettmer) Beyond the Yellow Ribbon program modified.

Representative Westrom moved that HF 1819 be recommended to pass and referred to the General Register.

Representative Westrom moved to approve the H1819A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Westrom moved an oral amendment to HF1819, as amended. The amendment is as follows:
Page 1, line 12 delete "who, while participating" and insert ", that in good faith participates"
and on Page 1, line 17 and line 20, delete "and" and insert a comma after willful.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Drazkowski moved for the approval of the A12-0711 amendment.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Drazkowski laid over HF 1819, as amended.
Representative Westrom reassumed the gavel at 1:25 pm.

HF 1833 (Dittrich) Relocation assistance amount or denial hearing required.

Representative Drazkowski moved that HF 1833 be recommended to pass and referred to the General Register.

HF 2084 (Stensrud) Inverse condemnation authorized by a mixed municipal solid waste services business when a governmental entity occupies the market.

Representative Drazkowski moved that HF 2084 recommended to pass and referred to the General Register

Representative Scott moved for approval of the H2084A3 amendment.
Representative Drazkowski moved to orally amend H2084A3 amendment by deleting Page 1, Line 5. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Scott moved for approval of the H2084A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
