MINUTES

Representative Howes, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:31 PM on May 4, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Ward moved to approve the minutes from April 12, 2011. MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 959 (Howes) Flood hazard mitigation grant funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Howes moved DE-1 AMENDMENT. MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Hausman moved A-1 AMENDMENT. MOTION PREVAILED.

3:40 PM Representative Scott assumed the gavel.

Testifying on HF 959, as amended: Kent Lokkesmoe, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Capital Investment Director.

3:50 PM Representative Howes assumed the gavel.

Representative Melissa Hortman; Mark Uglem, City of Champlin Mayor; Cort Holton, Three Rivers Park District lobbyist; Beau Carlson, Three Rivers Park District Assistant Supervisor.

HF 959, as amended, was laid on the table.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:21 PM.
