MINUTES
Representative Hamilton, Chair of the Agriculture & Rural Development Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:23 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, in Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.
A quorum was not present.

Representative Franson was excused.
Dewey Thorbeck of the Center for Rural Design, University of Minnesota, gave a presentation on the Center for Rural Design.
A quorum was present at 10:25 a.m.
Representative LeMieur moved to amend the minutes to correctly reflect the two excused members, Hamilton and Poppe. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Representative LeMieur moved that the amended minutes be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Julie Tesch, Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council introduced the presentation of the Farm Business Management Program.
