MINUTES

Representative Paul Anderson, Vice Chair of the Agriculture & Rural Development Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:23 a.m. on May 10, 2011, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representatives Hamilton, Falk, Hansen, Hosch, Persell, and Poppe were excused.

A quorum was not present.

A quorum was present at 10: 32 a.m.

Chair Paul Anderson asked the presenters on the Grape Growers/Wineries in Minnesota to begin. Presenters were:
Paula Marti, Morgan Creek Vineyards, New Ulm, MN
Mark Wedge, Fieldstone Vineyards, Redwood Falls, MN
John Maloney, Government Affairs Chair, Minnesota Grape Growers, Cannon River Winery, Cannon Falls, MN
Brenda Visnovec, Lakeville Liquors, Lakeville, MN
Jennifer Schoenzeit, Zips Liquor Store, Minneapolis, MN

Representative Eken moved to amend the minutes of May 5, 2011 by deleting "Rod Hamilton" on the signature line and inserting "Paul Anderson". THE MOTION PREVAILED. Representative Eken moved to approve the minutes as amended of May 5, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:27 a.m.
