MINUTES


Representative Cy Thao, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:20 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Abeler moved that the minutes of March 3, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Murphy assumed the gavel at 6:22 P.M.

Informational Presentation on the Oral Health Practitioner Work Group Report

Mark Schoenbaum, Director, Office of Rural Health and Primary Care, Minnesota Department of Health

HF1226 (Thao) Licensure and practice limitations established for an oral health practitioner, fees established, and rulemaking required

Representative Thao moved that HF1226 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight.
