K-12 EDUCATION POLICY & OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE
Representative Carlos Mariani, Chair of the K-12 Education Policy & Oversight Committee, called the thirty-fourth meeting to order at 8:39 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

Rep. McFarlane moved the minutes of March 27, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.
HF 1198 (Davnie)—A bill for an act relating to education; providing for harassment, bullying, intimidation, and violence policies; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 121A.03; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 121A.0695.
Rep. Davnie moved that HF 1198 be recommended to pass and placed on the general register.
Rep. Davnie moved the H1198DE1
amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
