Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:41PM, on March 19, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McNamara moved that the minutes from March 18, 2009 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved HF 1675 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

HF 1675 -Atkins
Pollution Control Agency directed to adopt rules to limit emissions of high global warming potential gases

Chair Eken moved the following oral amendment to HF 1675:
In section 3 delete subdivision 3.
