MINUTES


Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Division, called the twentieth meeting to order at 10:09 A.M. on, March 5, 2010 in the 200 hearing room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 10:09 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Davnie moved approval of HF3076 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

HF3076 (Juhnke) Elevator provisions modified.

Testimony was given by:

Representative Davnie renewed his motion HF3076 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.



Representative Davnie moved approval of HF2402 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

HF2402 (Gardner) Lead acid battery recycling purchase, return, and collection regulated.

Representative Davnie moved approval of amendment A2402A3.
The amendment was adopted.

Representative Davnie renewed his motion HF2402 be recommended to pass as amended and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


The committee recessed at 10:18A.M.

Representative Lillie moved approval of HF3297 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

HF3297 (Thao) Ethnicity of certain injured, sick, or deceased employee records required.

A handout was given to division members:

Representative Lillie renewed his motion HF3297 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.



Representative Mahoney moved approval of HF 3293 be recommended to pass as and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

HF3293 (Clark) State building Code amended, and licensing requirements modified.

A handout was given to division members:
"Minnesota Department of Health Finding Lead in the Home"

Representative Mahoney moved approval of amendment H3293A1.
The amendment was adopted.

Representative Mahoney moved approval of amendment H3293A2.
The amendment was adopted.

Representative Mahoney moved approval of amendment H3293A3.
The amendment was adopted.

Representative Murdock moved approval of HF3024 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

HF3024 (Murdock) Manufactured Home Building Code requirements modified.

The amendment was incorporated.

Representative Murdock moved approval of amendment A10-2246 amendment as amended.
The amendment was adopted.


Representative Murdock renewed his motion HF3024 be recommended to pass as amended and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


Representative Murdock moved adoption of the February 26, 2010 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
