MINUTES


Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Division, called the first meeting to order at 4:24 P.M. on, January 13, 2009, in Room Basement of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 4:24 P.M. A quorum was present.

HF0004 (Mahoney) Unemployment compensation base period modification.


Representative Mahoney moved approval of HF0004 to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

Testifying on the bill:
Lee Nelson, Unemployment Director for MN Department of Employment and Economic Development.

Representative Mahoney moved HF0004 be recommend to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


The meeting adjourned at 4:34 P.M.
