Representative Leon Lillie, Vice-Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:35 P.M. on April 2, 2009, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Zellers moved the Committee Report on HF 1056 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Zellers moved the A09-0345 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 1072 (Howes) Vacation home rental regulation and management clarified.

Representative Zellers moved the A09-0353 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Zellers moved the A09-0355 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Zellers moved to incorporate the following into the A09-0353 amendment:
Line 1.9, after "under" insert "Section". THE CHANGE WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Zellers moved HF 1072, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Slocum moved that the minutes of March 31, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1813 (Juhnke) Elevators in grain elevators regulation provided.

Representative Davids moved the Committee Report on HF 1813 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
