MINUTES


Representative Mary Murphy, Chair, called the twelfth meeting to order at 4:34 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Murphy called the meeting to order at 4:34 p.m.

A quorum was present.

Chair Murphy went over the goals as ranked by each small group

Jim Bezat of Burnsville, on behalf of the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Alliance, testified to the committee on issues of supplementation and supplantation

Mr. Bezat answered questions from the committee

The committee discussed the Clean Water Legacy Act and other issues surrounding supplementation and supplantation

Peggy Adelmann of Apple Valley shared her photo and story with the committee

Terry Kuhlman of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Public Facilities Authority, testified to the budget and functioning of the Public Facilities Authority

Mr. Kuhlman answered questions from the committee

Jeff Freeman of Saint Paul, on behalf of the Public Facilities Authority, testified to the ranking system that the Public Facilities Authority employs

Mr. Freeman answered questions from the committee

Representative Wagenius moved that HF18 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Finance
