MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the forty-fourth meeting to order at 10:44 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Chair Clark moved that HF1993 (Clark) Omnibus Public Health Bill, be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Chair Clark moved an amendment to HF1993 (See attached amendment H1993DE4-1).

Chair Clark moved an amendment to the amendment (See attached amendment H1993A3). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testified on H1993DE4-1 as amended:

Craig Acomb, Assistant Commissioner, MN Department of Health
Barb Juelich, Chief Financial Officer, MN Department of Health
Chair Clark renewed the motion that the H1993DE4-1 amendment as amended be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND AMENDMENT AS AMENDED WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Clark renewed the motion that HF1993 as amended be returned the Committee on Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative McNamara moved that the minutes of March 24, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:10 a.m.
