Representative John Ward, Co-Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:45PM on February 10, 2009, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Newton moved the minutes of February 4, 2009 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE ADOPTED.
HF3951 (Greiling) A bill for an act relating to education finance; modifying the school finance system; creating a new education funding framework.
Representative Greiling moved HF2 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus K-12 Education Finance Bill.
Representative Greiling, Greg Vandal, Superintendent, ISD47, Mary Cecconi, Executive Director, Parents United, Greg Ohl, Superintendent, Minnewaska Public Schools, and Reine Shiffman, School Board Member, ISD197, testified.
Public testimony on HF2 was provided by the following individuals:
