Representative Greiling, Chair of the K-12 Education Finance Division, gave an introduction to the purpose of this meeting.
Rebecca Otto, State Auditor, State of Minnesota, provided an overview of Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB).
Jody Hauer, Evaluator, Office of the Legislative Auditor, presented "Postemployment Benefits for Public Employees."
Audrey Bomstad, Budgets Payments Sp Ed Fiscal Monitoring Facilities Supervisor. Minnesota Department of Education, provided information on OPEB bond issuance in the state of Minnesota.
Thomas Wieczorek, Business Manager, Alexandria Public Schools, discussed their decision of bond issuance for OPEB.
Les Fujitake, Superintendent, Bloomington Public Schools, discussed their decision of bond issuance for OPEB.
Tim Strom, House Research Analyst, Greg Crowe, House Fiscal Analyst
and Joel Michael, House Research Analyst, answered questions regarding OPEB.
