Representative Lyndon Carlson called the meeting to order at 9:49 A.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Room 118 of the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2285 Sertich Natural resource and cultural heritage dedicated funding provided through increased sales tax revenue, funds established, Natural Heritage Enhancement Council created, and constitutional amendment proposed.

Representative Solberg moved HF2285, First Engrossment, be taken off the table. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Solberg moved to reconsider the A07-0977 amendment to HF2285, First Engrossment.

Representative Kohls requested a roll call vote on the motion to reconsider. The results were as follows:

Representative Simpson moved the A07-0977 amendment to HF2285, First Engrossment.

Representative Kohls requested a roll call vote on the A07-0977 amendment to HF2285, First Engrossment.

Representative Erhardt moved to amend the A07-0977 amendment as follows:
Insert the word "gas"

Representative Erhardt withdrew the amendment to the A07-0977 amendment.

Representative Solberg renewed his motion that HF2285, First Engrossment, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
