GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS, REFORM, TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTIONS
MINUTES
Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Governmental Operations, Reform, Technology and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Morgan moved that the minutes of April 16, 2008, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The presentation on legislative process reform continued.

Scheduled for hearing: H. F. 3082 (Murphy, M.)
A bill for an act relating to retirement; amending the correctional state employees retirement plan; adding two employment positions to retirement plan coverage; amending Minnesota Statutes 2007 Supplement, section 352.91, subdivision 3d.
Chairman Pelowski moved that HF 3082 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules.
Chairman Pelowski moved to amend HF 3082 (see attached
H3082-27A). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

H3082-30A).
Chairman Pelowski incorporated an oral amendment to Amendment
H3082-30A, as follows:
Page 11, line 35, delete "subdivision 1" and insert "subdivision 2"
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Kahn moved to amend HF 3082, as amended (see attached
H3082A2). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chairman Pelowski renewed his motion that HF 3082, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:43 AM.
