MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twenty-second meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Room 400N of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.

A quorum was present.

Representative Laine moved that HF595 pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Laine moved the delete all amendment H0595DE2. (Attached) THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF595 (Laine) Family visiting program provisions modified, and money appropriated

Representative Laine presented HF595 to the committee.

Testifying in support of HF595:

Rob Fulton, St. Paul - Ramsey County Department of Public Health

Representative Laine renewed her motion that HF595 pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Representative Kranz moved that HF939 pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF939 (Kranz) Deed tax percentage adjusted, rental housing assistance provided, housing account for leverage opportunity established, and money appropriated

Representative Kranz presented HF939 to the committee.

Representative Severson moved the amendment H0939A1. (Attached: never voted on)

Representative Clark recessed the meeting at 7:05 to the call of the chair.

Representative Clark reconvened the meeting at 7:19, March 13, 2007 in 400N State Office Building.

Representative Kranz moved that HF939 be laid on the table. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Severson moved that the minutes Tuesday, March 13, 10 a.m. meeting, be approved as corrected. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
