Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 9:08 A.M. on September 8, 2008, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Shannon Lotthammer, Environmental Analysis and Outcomes Division Manager at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), and Glenn Skuta, Regional Watershed Division Manager, testified on MPCA's progress on Clean Water Legacy TMDLs and impaired waters.
Chair Wagenius took the gavel at 10:11 A.M.
Jim Nobles, Legislative Auditor, and Cecile Ferkul, Deputy Legislative Auditor, presented their report on the Department of Natural Resources and the 2007 North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association Conference.
Mark Holsten, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Commissioner, testified in response to questions from the committee.
