MINUTES


Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:05 A.M. on February 20, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner and David Schad, Fish and Wildlife Division Director, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), presented the Fish and Wildlife Division portion of the DNR budget.

A quorum was present at 8:19 A.M.

Colonel Michael Hamm, Enforcement Division Director, DNR, presented the Enforcement Division portion of the DNR budget.

The meeting was recessed at 9:33 A.M.

The committee reconvened at 6:37 P.M.

Bob Meier introduced the Forestry Division portion of the DNR budget.

Bob Tomlinson, Assistant Director of the Forestry Division, presented the Forestry portion of the DNR budget.

Bob Meier presented the Forestry Division legislative initiatives and change items.

Denise Anderson, Chief Financial Officer, DNR, presented the DNR Operations Support portion of the DNR budget.

Bob Meier provided a summary of the DNR's agency-wide legislative initiatives.

Representative Hoppe moved that the minutes of February 15th be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE APPROVED.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:02 P.M.
