Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Committee, called the first meeting to order at 8:05 A.M. on January 17, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

Professor Susan Galatowitsch of the University of Minnesota Water Resources Department testified on the topic of wetlands.
Rep. Hansen moved that the minutes of January 11, 2007 be adopted.

Janette Brimmer, Legal Director of the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (MCEA), testified on the topic of wetlands.
