CAPITAL INVESTMENT FINANCE DIVISION COMMITTEE

MINUTES


Representative Bev Scalze, Vice Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:22 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Minnesota Historical Society, Preserving the State's Rich Past - Historic Preservation and Asset Preservation. Presenters from the Minnesota Historical Society were:

- David Kelliher, Legislative Liaison
- Britta Bloomberg, Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer
- Bill Keyes, Director of Historic Sites and Museums Division
- Tom Pfannenstiel, Manager, Historic Properties Division

Rep. Hausman assumed the chair at 3:12 pm

H.F. 1018 (Hausman) - relating to state government; changing provisions for state general obligation bond proceeds; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 16A.695. (Department of Finance Housekeeping bill)

The Chair moved that HF 1018 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Capital Investment Finance bill.

Explaining the bill and responding to questions on the bill:

- Assistant Commissioner Peter Sausen, Department of Finance

The Chair laid over HF 1018 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Capital Investment Finance bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:52 p.m.
