Representative Al Juhnke, Chair, called the thirty-third meeting to order at 10:17AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Basement of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton moved that the minutes, as amended, of March 26, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 3981 (Juhnke); a bill relating to appropriations; appropriating money for veterans affairs, military affairs; and the Board of Animal Health; reducing and adjusting appropriations for agriculture; authorizing issuance of special veteran contribution plate for motorcycles, providing for disposition of certain funds; removing a limit on certain grants; eliminating a sunset date; amending Minnesota Statutes.

Chair Juhnke moved that HF 3981 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Juhnke moved the H3981DE1 amendment.

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Juhnke instructed staff to make technical changes on accounting language to re-appropriate money from the Livestock Investment Grant Program and re-appropriate it to the Board of Animal Health Bovine TB program.
