Representative Al Juhnke, Chair, called the first meeting to order at 10:05AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in Basement of the State Office Building.

Representative Hamilton moved that the minutes of January 31, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Jim Boerboom, Assistant Commissioner and Curt Zimmerman, Dairy Profitability, Dairy Diagnostics, from the Department of Agriculture gave an overview of livestock and dairy in Minnesota and testified on HF0009 and HF0052.

Dr. Jim Linn, Interim Head, University of Minnesota Department of Animal Science gave an overview of teaching, education and outreach programs at the university.
