MINUTES


Representative Kent Eken, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:12 P.M. on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008, in Room 300 North of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Olin moved approval of the minutes of March 6th, 2008. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE APPROVED.

HF 205 (Mullery) Environmental Justice Act established implementing policies, and creating a task force and advisory council.

Chair Eken moved HF 205 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations, Reform, Technology, and Elections.

Chair Eken moved HF 2746 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Labor.

HF 3685 (Moe) Toxic chemical release reporting requirements modified.

Representative Moe moved HF 3685 be recommended to pass.

Steve Giddings, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, testified on HF 3685.

Representative Moe renewed his motion that HF 3685 be recommended to pass.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee recessed at 5:34 P.M.

The committee re-convened at 6:20 P.M.

HF 3643 (Poppe) Individual sewage treatment system professional licensing requirements modified.
