MINUTES


Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Telecommunications Regulation and Infrastructure Division, called the fifthteenth meeting to order at 8:09 A.M. on March 7, 2008, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson called the meeting to order at 8:09 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Juhnke moved that the minutes of February 29, 2008, be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Juhnke assumed the chair.

HF 2351 (Johnson) Cable communications systems regulation modified, and state-authorized video providers regulated


Representative Johnson moved approval of HF2351 before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

Representative Johnson moved the amendment H2351DE1.
The amendment was adopted.

Representative Johnson renewed his motion that HF2351, as amended be recommended to pass and is re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


HF 2959 (Johnson) Broadband service mapping project and inventory funding provided, and money appropriated

Representative Johnson moved HF2959 before the division and referred to the committee on Commerce and Labor.

Representative Johnson moved amendment H2959A1.
The amendment was adopted.


Representative Johnson renewed his motion that HF2959, as amended be recommended to pass and is re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


SF 2262 (Sparks) HF 2414 (Johnson) Relating to telecommunications; repealing certain obsolete rules.

Representative Johnson moved SF2262 before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

Representative Johnson renewed his motion that SF2262, be recommended to pass and is re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.

Representative Johnson resumed the chair.

HF 3327 (Beard) Modifying provisions relating to alternative regulation plans.

Representative Beard moved HF3327, as amended and heard on February 29, 2008, before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

Representative Beard renewed motion that HF3327, as amended be recommended to pass and is re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


The meeting was adjourned at 8:27 A.M.
