MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:24 P.M. on March 6, 2008, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 2107 (Masin) Telecommunications goals provided, and broadband policy director and advisory board established

Representative Atkins moved HF 2107

Representative Zellers moved the H2107A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Zellers moved to orally amend HF 2107 as follows:
Page 2, Line 3, delete "the commissioner of administration or the commissioner's designee;" and insert "office of enterprise technology or designee;". THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the H3034A1 amendment.

Representative Mahoney moved to orally amend the H3034A1 amendment as follows:
Page 1, after Line 14, insert "This section effective on the date following enactment." THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the H3034A1 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the H3034A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the H3034A6 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved the A08-1255 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved to orally amend HF 3034 as follows:
Page 29, Line 26, delete "retroactively from". THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 3500 (Lillie) Business Corporations Act; Limited Liability Company Act; Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 2001; Technical amendments proposed, and nonprofit limited liability company formation authorized

Representative Lillie moved the A08-1281 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
