MINUTES


Representative Ruth, Vice Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, called the Thirtieth meeting to order at 12:33 P.M. on Tuesday March 28, 2006, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Excused from the meeting:

A quorum was present.

Representative Hornstein moved approval of the March 23, 2006 Transportation Finance Committee Meeting Minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF3562 (Nelson P.) Income tax credit for conversion of vehicles to operate using alternative fuels provided.

Representative Ruth moved HF3562 be passed and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Nelson presented HF3562.

Representative Ruth renewed her motion that HF3562 be passed and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3563 (Nelson, P.) Alternative fuel vehicle usage subtraction from federal taxable
income authorized.

Representative Ruth moved HF3563 be passed and re-referred to the Committee
on Taxes.

Representative Nelson presented HF3563.

Representative Ruth renewed her motion that HF3563 be passed and re-referred to the
Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3482 (Hackbarth) All-terrain vehicle gasoline fuel tax attributable amount modified.

Representative Ruth moved HF3482 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the
Transportation Finance Committee Omnibus bill.

Representative Ruth moved HF3745 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the
Transportation Finance Committee Omnibus Bill.

Representative Peterson presented HF3745.

Representative Ruth renewed her motion that HF3745 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Committee Omnibus Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3356 (Magnus) Town road signs money appropriated.

Representative Magnus moved HF3356 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Committee Omnibus Bill.

Representative Magnus moved verbal amendment to HF3356:

Representative Holberg moved verbal amendment to Amendment MV-AMD05:

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
