Representative Ron Erhardt, Chairman of the Transportation Policy Committee, called the Eleventh meeting to order at 2:35 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Lieder moved approval of the minutes: February 23, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Ruth moved approval of SF4/HF223(Davids) Gasoline minimum ethanol content requirement increase; petroleum replacement goal and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Rep. Hortman moved the following oral amendment to the S0004A8 amendment:
Page 1, line 15 after "Minnesota consumers" insert "compared to petroleum." THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Cybart renewed his motion to approve the S0004A8 amendment as amended. THE MOTION FAILED. The amendment was not adopted.

Rep. Ruth renewed her motion to approve SF4/HF223 as amended and re-refer it to the Committee on Transportation Finance without recommendation. THE MOTION FAILED.

Rep. Holberg moved approval of HF859(Holberg) Dakota County Regional Railroad Authority development of bus rapid transit in Cedar Avenue transitway corridor authorized and recommended it be re-refer to the Committee on Taxes.

Rep. Holberg moved adoption of the H1204A2 amendment to HF1204. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Nelson moved approval of HF310(Bernardy)Ramsey County property interests transfer authorized and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Rep. Nelson moved approval of the A05-0061 amendment to HF310. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Cox moved the following oral amendment to HF310(Bernardy) as amended:
Page 2, line 11 after "agreement" insert "which includes a consideration of $1 million paid to the state for deposit in the trunk highway fund".

Discussion on the Cox amendment to HF310(Bernardy).

Rep. Cox withdrew his motion to amend HF310(Bernardy).

Rep. Nelson renewed his motion to approve HF310 as amended to the Committee on Transportation Finance without recommendation. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 PM.
