MINUTES



Representative Ray Vandeveer, Chairman of the Property and Local Tax Division Committee, called the twentieth meeting to order at 10:20 AM on Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The Department of Revenue made a presentation on MN Assessment Practices (Code of Conduct for Assessors).

Testifying on behalf of the Department of Revenue was:
-Gordon Folkman, Director of the Property Tax Division

Testifying from the State Board of Assessors was:
-Keith Albertson, County Assessor from Douglas County

Rep. MARQUART moved approval of the minutes: April 29, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Rep. LENCZEWSKI moved approval of the minutes: November 30, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. SIMPSON moved approval of the minutes: December 6, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


The Department of Revenue continued the presentation on MN Assessment Practices (Code of Conduct for Assessors).
